    Abstract

Mobile devices have become a part of our lives. With the possibility of instal- ling additional software, mobile devices cover almost all aspects of our daily activities. For applications not yet covered by manufacturers of these devices, their vendors offer software development kits for development of new appli- cations. On the other side, concepts of graph and network theory are now used in all fields of scientific research from computer science, engineering and medicine to sociology and psychology. With the help of Apple’s software deve- lopment kit iPhoneSDK, we have developed an application, a simple graphical browser of network of music artists. The application provides a graphical view of similarity between artist, offers possibility to listen to the music and to buy new songs of selected artist. In the thesis we have described the software de- velopment kit, mobile operating system iOs and other used technologies. We have also presented the developed architecture and algorithms and described the development process of the iVisualTunes application.
