    Abstract

This diploma work describes the design and realization of system for measuring temperature and its connection to the Ethernet network. I will also present how to capture and display data temperature, which is essential for the proper functioning of the devices on transmitter location Kuk. To measure the temperature I use a digital sensor DS18B20 that is factory-calibrated temperature sensor to communicate with the master device uses 1-wire bus. It was therefore necessary to find a module that has a 1-wire communication interface and Ethernet communication interface, that the data transmission can be through our media, in a central server. I've used the module Barionet50. To transfer data from the server Barionet50 I used the SNMP protocol. I've also written program in Perl for capturing data via SNMP protocol. This program is serving temperature data in CVS format, wich is ready to import into most data-processing programs.
