Abstract

The following thesis is introducing the impact of computer technology in the process of desktop publishing, or as we could say in the prepress procedure. At first i describe the influence of computer technology over last 60 years, because at this period of time there was the biggest leverage of computer technology. This is followed by description of key thing we need to prepare our prepress, and the system architecture. I also describe main processes and solutions that we can use in different environment settings. In the continuations of this thesis I analyze and describe the local area network, and i present solutions, that could be used in the future.
