    Abstract

    This thesis describes the development of a web application DRAGON Venue Media Centre. The web application is for the management and distribution of content relating to events of organisation(s). The application allows the construction of a complete database of events for each organisation. Each organisation can then manage its part of the database and can access its own data through XML files, it can therefore easily integrate other media, such as websites, electronic news, and websites of partners. The XML files can be accessed by all the organisations, which is beneficial for media and other information providers.
