    Abstract

In my thesis I wanted to automate a daily activity. I chose gardening. I created a project named E-gardner, which enables us to remotely control our inside garden through a website. Introduction describes some of the similar existing projects and how different stages of the project are interconnected. The central part is divided into three sections. The first one describes all of the equipment that is used for realization of the project. This includes both the hardware and gardening equipment. The second part describes all the circuit schematics in detail. The third one describes software development with the means of Arduino IDE.The last part presents an example of its use. We explain how all of the hardware is connected and how the project is controlled through the website. Website enables us to switch between automatic and manual control of the garden and to view our plants through a wireless IP camera. The main purpose if the project is that although we are not at home, we can still take care of our garden and at the same time increase its productivity.
