Abstract

Nowadays more and more students are visiting faculty, which are far away from home and they are dependent to transport. Also the price of petroleum products rises day by day, therefore the costs of those transports are increasing. For this purpose, the website Prevoz.org was established, where users can offer their transports to others for a certain price. That is how they fill up capacity of the car, reduce costs for transport per person and at the same time they reduce carbon dioxide emissions to the environment. Within the thesis, we developed an application, which gets user interested infotmations about transports from the website Prevoz.org. The application draws their start, end locations and path on the map. It also allows examination of the specifics on roads of Slovenia and plotting the tag of user current location. With this application, we want to allow user a better overview of offered transports and increased use of website Prevoz.org. Through this, we are indirecly reducing atmosphere pollution and consumption of petroleum products.
