    Abstract

    The goal of the thesis was to demonstrate the process of renovation of the reporting system, which serves as a modern decision-making support system in a large enterprise. First part of the thesis contains theoretical descriptions of methods and technologies that are required to reach the target and also details of Decisyon 4 platform, which was implemented by the company as the basis for the renovation of existing reporting systems. Thesis is further composed of practical examples of project, which is built with three key steps. The first was an analysis of existing reporting systems and preparation of the data for their transfer to the new system. This was followed by the creation of planned functions that trigger at predetermined intervals and take care of transferring data from transactional database into the data warehouse, and finally preparation of reports using the Decisyon 4 platform. Renewed reporting system will bring faster and more reliable operation of current business processes in the company, while the leading persons of the company will be able to easily identify critical data for making important business decisions.
