    Abstract

I4 is an enterprise resource planning system which allows you to manage business processes. Due to increasing demands for managing complex processes and adjusting those processes to global standards, a renewal of a part of the system was required. In this thesis we faced the reengineering of the workflow engine, and corresponding data model. We designed a business process diagram in Bizagi Porcess Modeler. The import to i4 and the export from i4 was developed on XPDL file exported from the modeling tool. A new workflow engine for interpreting data from new data model was designed and basic operations were also implemented. In conclusion, future research and development solutions were presented.
