By using information technology, successful organizations today aim to further develop know-how, capabilities and competencies as well as to address initiatives and fulfill expectations, needs and aspirations at the level of each employee. This master final thesis encompasses an illustration of processes in human resource management, recognizing background, experts thinking and practical learning and challenges during the implementation of these processes, which I obtained while managing the ATKAM (Accountability Through Key Area Management) project and further analysis, learning and research during the preparation of my final thesis. It is followed by the illustration of such information system concept, intertwined with my own experience and learning, including best practices in this area. The last part of the thesis includes a project plan with an approximate time and cost estimates for the implementation of such project, risk assessment and the opinion regarding market attractiveness of such systems.
