Abstract
On-line shops are made up of many common components. There are various open source tools available which can be used to implement and maintain these components. In this dissertation we will explain the meaning and the main features of an on-line shop. We will compare some of the most popular open source solutions for building online shops. Illustrate how to build one with Sylius Framework. Explain in detail the model for saving products, categories and setup page workflow, changes needed to be done in Sylius to solve common problems like internationalization, online payment, delivery and to customize the look of the site based on prepared graphic design. We will summarize by indicating the possible improvements that can be done to the store and also explain what problems one might encounter with this kind of approach.
