    Abstract

    Performance Index Rating (PIR) is a basketball statistical formula that is commonly used for evaluation of basketball players. Quality analysis of index PIR was made on the statistical data of teams and basketball players who played in the ABA league for the last thirteen seasons. A HTML scraper was made for scraping data from the official ABA league website. A PostgreSQL database was built for easier use of data. With statistical analysis of index PIR we explored if basketball player's height, position, or age have influence on his index PIR and if there is a connection between a team's success and it's index PIR.
