    Abstract

    In the past, television in hotel room was used mainly for watching live TV channels, that was from owner side untapped potential. With IPTV and middleware solutions, television gets new boom, because hotel owner can offer to guest watching multimedia content, preview and ordering of hotel services. In this thesis, I have presented IPTV middleware solution, what does it general offer, and how does whole implementation go from order, analysis environment and requirements to the implementation and optimization. To show you that, I have based on Microsoft Sure Step methodology. At the end, I have described some developing possibilities in the near future.
