    Abstract

    In this thesis we present a system for displaying sports club rankings that are based on betting odds. The system consists of four main parts: a data base, a script for scraping betting odds and game results from websites, a script for calculating the ranks and a website that displays them. We used an existing algorithm for rank calculation and focused our efforts on the development of a robust scraping algorithm and a transparent website. The main characteristic that distinguishes this project from other similar ones, is our use of maps, which enable us to display geolocations of the clubs and also, with the use of colors, the strengths of individual countries. For development we chose open source technologies that enabled us quick development of an extensible system.
