The main goal of my diploma thesis was to describe the application dealing with pricelists, which is used by common carriers and telephone companies who use them for partial automatisation of controlling the selling and purchase prices. This field was dealt with and added a theoretic support in the first chapters of the paper. It was me as well who cooperated in the progress of the development. The application was based upon the orders of the contracting entity. It supports import and generation of pricelists. One part consists of purchase pricelists which are imported into the application while the other part is represented by sale pricelists the prices of which are generated on the basis of the active routing table. Purchase pricelist is found in the application only after a successful import of the pricelist. Purchase pricelist is given in Excel or Word file. Individual pricelists differ a lot from one to another telecommunication company. This is why every company needs to obtain its own import template through which the entering pricelist can be transformed into a standard format of the pricelists the application uses. If the template is written correctly, the entering pricelist can be converted into the standard form of the pricelist, which is stored into the database of the application after a successful transfer. Selling pricelist can be imported into the application as well, but this would be just an exemption from a rule. This type of pricelist is mostly generated by the application on the basis of application's internal information. The application partially automatises the processes that have beforehand been done manually. All the purchase and selling pricelists that were imported and/or generated through the application are now stored in one place. An insinght into the history of prices is possible as well. Selling prices, which were thus far been calculated manually or in a different tool (Excel), can now be calculated much faster and more precise. Through this application the changes on the field of telecommunication can be monitored rapidly and precise. When calculating manually, precision is arguable as the presence of the human factor and lack of data might cause an arguable result. What I used to describe and exemplify the usage of the application were UML diagrams: use case diagrams, package diagrams, sequence diagrams, component diagrams, and deployment diagrams. Through them, the sole construction of the application was shown.
