Abstract

The thesis describes the implementation of the SAP Solution Manager product in the Telekom Slovenia group. This product was chosen to ensure undisturbed activity of business processes in the group. The main goal to be achieved is to establish a proactive centralized monitoring and to enable undisturbed operation of the SAP systems. In the the theoretical part of the thesis, the technical and content characteristics of the the SAP Solution Manager are described with the functionalities offered. In addition, the detailed structure and the individual phases of the ITIL and ASAP methodology that are fully supported by the product SAP Solution Manager are presented. In the practical part, the installation of the SAP Solution Manager is described and basic transactions that were performed during configuration and establishment of a single central control environment in the Telekom Slovenia group are presented. In the conclusion, the achievements of practical work and its results are presented and described.
