Abstract
The thesis includes a research on SharePoint 2010 programming capabilities and a display of products created by this knowledge. The introduction part includes background information on how the topic was chosen and how the thesis was developed. The second chapter presents the SharePoint platform, which includes a description of its structure, function and usability. The third chapter focuses solely on the programming of the platform. First, some of the most useful software tools for its programming are presented and afterwards our interest is centred on the most powerful of them – Microsoft Visual Studio. Some of the main useful objects of SharePoint object model are presented, as well as performance and usability of SharePoint Event Receivers, working with Business Data, SharePoint WorkFlows, SharePoint Web Services, SharePoint 2010 security concerns and possibility to connect with applications on smart phones. The fourth chapter presents products created for HIDRIA corporation with obtained knowledge of SharePoint development. The first product refers to an application for the registration and improvement processing that may be claimed by each employee within the corporation. The second product is an application for the control of terminals, which deals with the area of production control with the help of terminals. In addition, there is an appendix with graphical representation of SharePoint task list and SharePoint component for the selection of persons. The concluding arguments are given at the end of the thesis.
