Abstract
This bachelors thesis studies the design approach to building a digital identity for an organisation. Currently published examples are cited and good practices are identified. Tools for the development of digital identities, and the web technologies used for their presentation are researched and presented in the last part of this work. A comparative study is suitable because it collects data from research and it uses it to develop a prototype digital identity. This thesis acts as a guide for the development of an organized digital identity, and puts theory into practice by developing a digital identity for the Milli agency, its web site and recognizable elements for use in social media.
