    Abstract

Some of the challenges companies are facing in the information age are knowledge exchange, enterprise data search and effective collaboration. With the growing complexity of business processes and amount of data and information that need to be processed, implementing webbased technologies can have significant benefits on communication and collaboration between staff, especially if they are working from separate office locations. My thesis provides an overview and a practical technical implementation of Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 technologies and tools into a corporate network based on a collaboration platform MindTouch. Benefits of the technical implementation include:  central document and knowledge repository  improved collaboration  enterprise mashups (reporting, web services, etc.)  development platform  connecting project teams to relevant enterprise data  improved efficiency and productivity
