Abstract

The thesis describes a design and realization of a system that is capable of wireless managing statistic data and displaying score of a baseball match. The description begins with a design and structure of electronic circuits. System is divided into two units, each with its own function. Display unit displays the information for viewers on a large LED. Remote unit works as a managing console for display unit. Wireless connection between the units allows comfortable managing of a the scoreboard. The connection is established between the Avisaro WLAN Module and wireless adapter in the PC. The second half of the thesis describes the softwares design. Custom program was written that manages the display of data on the LED scoreboard and storing of data in local relational database. In the last chapter the system is compared against given requirements. Also, some additional thoughts on improvements and upgrades are given.
