    Abstract

Project management can be either simple or complicated. On the one hand, it can be very efficient and contribute to a corporation’s success, while on the other hand may generate only additional work and not lead to the desired results. Modern corporations should make project management efficient and should also leverage it to generate joy and pleasure for all participants. We will probably have to implement some simplifications in existing project management methods in order to reach those goals. Besides basic general rules of project management, I’m introducing light agile methods, bringing the opportunity to close up successful project management into all kinds of corporations for any size and any kinds of projects. Also, those methods brings additional value through understanding the whole set of projects in the corporation operation, thus enabling corporation’s management to get simple overview over all projects, which makes decisions better and easier. In the writing of this diploma I have used may experiences as project manager in information technology projects and as a development leader of the modern project management application, called 4PM, whose users are various corporations (industry, craft, government, education, etc.).
