    Abstract

    The BA thesis focuses on the process of application building. All project phases required to build an application as well as methods for facilitating the work and shortening the time needed to complete a certain project are presented. With the help of Microsoft Expression Blend 3 the application prototypes can be developed and used with an actual application at the same time. The exchange of information between the customer and the developer is simple as good communication is a key factor in the application. The BA thesis also presents the Expression Blend 3 and the development of a simple prototype using this tool. The prototype was developed using the Silverlight technology which is designed for web applications. The entire prototype was developed without writing any code. The process of communication is presented within the framework of the prototype. The final application was programmed in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 environment using C# and .NET. The appearance of the final application is also shown. The application is using a SQL Server 2008 database. The BA thesis presents a simple desktop application based on the WPF technology and the process of transformation from a prototype application to an actual application. After the transformation there was no change.
