Abstract

The diploma paper examines the development of IUS SOFTWARE's word processing application. The third chapter considers multilayer environment of the application in function: the upper layer (compiled data web portal display), intermediate application server and the lowest layer (database). The part of the environment is being looked into in more detail insofar it is crucial for the application. The fourth chapter discusses requirements the application must meet, while the fifth chapter is dealing with application's implementation. For presentation purposes the final image of the paper is being used in order to give the reader a clear demonstration of its integral parts; i.e. the impact of the environment on the realization of certain intermediate elements. Through the implementation the user interface (menus, windows, multilingualism), the background processes, plug-ins and the application's final installations by the users are being interpreted both textually and graphically.
