    Abstract

Rare are organizations that haven’t met with project way of work yet. This also applies to government bodies. The degree addresses two areas which are very important for organizations that want to maintain control over costs, risk, functionality and complexity of a project. The first area is project management and the second area is system development process. The main purpose of the degree is to execute a complete analysis on both mentioned areas and to prepare or to renovate the methodology that is already used for project management in selected government body. With improved methodology government body would be able to manage IT project more successfully and efficiently. The new methodology will combine best practices, earlier way of working, project management methodologies (MVPDU-IT) and project management and system development methodology (EMRIS).
