Abstract

In my diploma project called “eHealth”, where the biggest part of activities in computerization in health organizations in Slovenia, is presented. Here also hospital information systems, with emphasis on hospital information system that was developed by Slovenian company, and that is used in most hospitals in Slovenia, is described. Connectivity and interoperability in information systems in health organizations is provided by using standards HL7 and DICOM that are here also briefly presented. While the prerequisite for computerization is digitalization of data, in my diploma also digital medical radiological devices that producers offer in Slovenian market are presented.
