    Abstract

    The aim of change management is to record, save, study, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document, and review change requests in a controlled manner. The purpose of this BA thesis is to present the guidelines of change management according to the Information Technology Infrastructure Library v3. The first part of the thesis consists of the theoretical reflections on change management as well as planning and developing a new service. In the second part the change request is presented on a practical example at Krka d.d. where I participated on the project described in Chapter 5. The practical part consists of the description of the previous state, descriptions and relations between the systems used in the change deployment process, descriptions of tools used for planning a change, validation scheme of the systems used at Krka d.d. as well as the demonstration of different solutions developed together with the co-workers and used for finding the final solution and successfully deploying the change.
