    Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is agilization of project management methodology by PRINCE2 to suit the various projects on the scale of size and duration. In the first part I have described the history of PRINCE2 methodology and the main parameters of agilization by which we distinguish between projects. PRINCE2 is the most common methodology for project management. The essence of the methodology is agilization of activities within the process in order for this methodology to be used in different categories of projects. Firstly I have described the parameters of agilization and how based on this criteria, projects can be divided into groups. At the end of the thesis I have determined, regarding the parameters, which activities within the process must always be carried out, which have to be carried out conditionally and which do not have to be carried out. Furthermore, I have described, which final products are needed and which are not, depending on the type of the project.
