Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to create a decision model for the selection of a daily work reporting tool. Within the framework of this thesis, it is necessary to establish the criterion for the choice of the best variant with a suitable type of a decision model. In the introduction, the term decision is explained, which is followed by different types of decisions and the decision process. Two programs for development of a decision model are introduced: Microsoft Excel and DEXi. This is then followed by the development of a decision model which requires a choice of criterions, stock of values, and the establishment of the functions of usefulness and weights. The thesis presents the choice between four different variants, basing on an actual example. At the end, the results and analyses are shown in the previously mentioned programs. The conclusion shows why the chosen variant is the right one.
