    Abstract

The system used as a testing and presentation platform for the products of the company in which the author is employed is presented in the diploma thesis as well as the reason for its use and a description of its main parts. The function and elements used on it are described for each printed circuit board separately. Key integrated circuits (image sensor and image coprocessor) which are the main products of the company are described in more detail. A detailed explanation of the creation of one of the system’s printed circuit boards for the image coprocessor, the latter of which is developed here in Slovenia, is given in continuation. The thesis also describes the origins of the board, the steps required for the full functioning of the board and system and problems encountered which required resolution. Schemes were used to explain how and why the various integrated circuits where used as well as standards that had to be observed when designing the board given. One of the system’s functions, which includes the possibility of implementing measurements of certain electrical quantities is presented at the end of the thesis.
