    Abstract

    The content of this thesis is a process of finding a solution for improvement of multi-touch multi-user technology. Technology which allows and recognizes multiple taps on a screen is called multi-touch. As an addition, multi-user means that multiple users can use a multi-touch device independently at the same time. One of many solutions was implemented in Večuporabniški Slikar, a programme we developed. The programme is a multi-user experience, as it allows more users to work with it simultaneously. Each user also has his own drawing tools. For the programme's use there is an already functional multi-touch table at Faculty of Computer and Information Science. With using software only we could not find any real solutions. Until today only theoretical solutions for development and improvement of multi-touch multi-user technology exist.
