Abstract

Bachelor thesis introduces how can balanced scorecad (BSC) help in achieving strategic plan goals in IT company and software tools that can be used for this purpose. We are also presenting and comparing some of the software tools writen for BSC. Nowadays companies seek competitive advantage, which is very important. BSC can help IT companies achieve their desired goals. BSC can be used in various companies, due to it's advantages it can be used in IT companies as well. BSC is divided in four main perspectives: financial perspective, customer perspective, business process perspective and learning and growth perspective. In thesis we describe how important it is to control every aspect of IT operations among IT company. Due to the specific requirements of IT companies we need to adapt the basic model of BSC. Writing also includes strenghts and weaknesses of the system and it's main purpose. The final value of thesis is software comparison and recommendation.
