Abstract

Cloud computing is a topic we encounter in everyday use of the World Wide Web. More and more users and companies decide to use the services in the cloud because this option ensures that our data is always available to us and helps reduce operating costs. In the first part of the thesis we provide a general explanation of cloud computing and describe some actual services for storing files in the cloud. We also present the development of our own application for storing and sharing files, which we tried to approach to existing solutions. In addition to standard functionalities, our application offers functionalities for better overview and management of the archive. We explore the possibilities for deploying the application on the appropriate platform. We present some service providers and describe the process of deploying it in the cloud.
