    Abstract

    The thesis presents the implementation of control system configurator for particle accelerator European Spallation Source. It also presents the discussion about how would the use of standards in the field of network management contribute to the implementation. The first part describes the particle accelerator European Spallation Source and the main components of the control system architecture. The second part discusses network management basics and describes the SNMP protocol. The third part deals with the implementation of control system configurator and the last part discusses the features of use of SNMP protocol and how it would influence the implemented solution.
