    Abstract

The thesis represents remote software support for medical home care service. The solution is designed as an electronic system for recording all performed services and it provides an alternative to the current work order processing in the health care center, which can be very time-consuming. Mobile application contains work order data, which is obtained by usage of Web service calls, those services are running on a health care center server. The data is then displayed to the user in an easy and understandable way which can be used to arrange and edit the working order at the remote location. Mobile application and its user interface were developed in the Java programming language, using Eclipse IDE development tools for Android platform. The solution has been verified with the test data on the smartphone. It is available as a prototype and was developed in conjunction with another web application that will be developed and described in the second thesis to serve as a connection to a health center information system. Together they represent the support for a further development of the whole home care solution .
