    Abstract

    In my thesis I have made CNC machine for engraving. In particular, I was interested in the whole process from the very idea of planning to construction. During the construction process, I met with a number of problems, which I managed to overcome. CNC machine consists of a machine part, the control component and the user interface. For movement of the engraver I have used three stepping motors that are driven by driver L297-8 feed. To control the stepper motors and communication between the user part and the machine the system STM ARM32F4 Discovery developement board is here. Communication takes place via an interface USART (Universal Synchronus Asynchronus Receiver Transmitter). The code of the user interface is written in the programming language Visual Basic. The user interface in the thesis enables to enter the coordinates for drawing linear lines. While making the thesis I have used most of the skills that I have managed to obtain from the faculty during the study.
