    Abstract

Using modern tools and technologies a mobile application has been developed, which enables exchange of money for users of mobile banking. NFC (Near Field Communication) has been explored from technical perspective, as well as its use in contactless payments around the world. Safety risks have been explored, which may arise from technology itself, or its various software implementations. As a working example a system has been developed, which comprises a mobile application written for operating system Android, a web service for controlling and performing various transactions. The process of planning the system has been described thoroughly, along with the tools and technologies used. Application has been tested and findings and conclusions are presented at the end of this paper. The application may be used in near future as a demo application in company Halcom d.d. Its design could be included in the future development of mobile applications for contactless money transfer.
