Abstract

The objective of my thesis is to make an application for managing and maintaining tools with Teflon coating (mouldsets), which are used in automotive industry of cabin, round air and oil filters. Main purpose of the application is to enable the overview with end of life status of Teflon coating, preventive maintenance, checkup of tools and in the end, creation of electronic order for refurbishing the Teflon coating before it gets used up. The application was designed to meet the criteria described above and transparently cover the aspects of finance, logistic and quality departments. In my thesis I will describe the whole process from used technologies to libraries, software, concept, planning, developing and integration followed by handover of application to production environment of final users. In the end we will check the final results and scratch the surface of possible further development and capability of wider common use.
