Abstract

The diploma presents the construction of a website for the Sports Association with the Drupal Content Management System. The main goal is to meet the specific requirements of the association, quality solution would help to get new members to the association too. In the theoretical part, we present the technologies and tools used to create a website. In the second part, the elaboration and resolution of problems is give together with the presentation of the main parts of the web solution. We shortly describe how to install the Drupal CMS and also how to manage it. In the next chapter, we present the use of a website from the viewpoint of the editor, who adds and edits the content part. We explain the connection with the external server NZS, through which we get the latest data for all matches of the Slovenian league. It plays an important role in displaying standings and schedules for the upcoming matches. Finally, we analyze the work we've done from the user's point perspective and the flexibility of the user interface.
