    Abstract

    Thesis describes web and mobile application for sharing location tagged content in real time. Both mobile and web applications offers the possibility of broadcasting and viewing content. Web-based application is more focused on administration part. Mobile application uses all the advanced technology found in new generation of smart phones, so you can accurately determine the user’s location and with solution can show only relevant content. All together form service for sharing status messages and multimedia content in real time. Content is marked with location data. With all this information provided, service is doing some background processing and trying to link relevant data near you. The focus of the service is to have the possibility of defining their personal location points, which acts as a virtual transmitter for the content. With the personal items user can share his personal items with his friends and the public no matter where currently is located, while having the option of integration and synchronization with other online social services like Twitter and Facebook. Content data is located on the server and user can download content at anytime. Solution is based on simple content sharing with friends. For the implementation of content management system was selected programming language ruby and for development framework Ruby on Rails, which in conjunction with relational database MySQL form web application framework. For the implementation of mobile applications, the programming language used was Java and the background is a relational database SQLite. Additional guidelines for further development of the service are following. Finally, we described various cases of use in everyday life.
