Jure Mally (2013) PROCEDURES FOR THE REPAIR OF LAPTOPS. EngD thesis.
Abstract
The purpose of my thesis was to present to the reader or a computer user the world of computers in a bit different light. Considering the fierce speed of progress of computer technology, the urgent usage of it, nowadays one also has to be up to date with the possible failures. In my thesis I tried to present the processes of repairing the failures of computer components, with just the right measure of expertise, to be understandable to an average computer user. The main focus of attention is given to the hardware part, while not neglecting some of the program solutions on the control level. I also touch on the subject of maintenance and preventing errors, providing the reader with complete overview of optimising and repairing the computer, for him to avoid wasting money on expensive servises.
