    Abstract

    Thesis includes presentation ov insurance bussiness application. The goal of it is to be used for processing insurance contracts. Aim of thesis is to present technologies and tools used in development of application with emphasis on technologies for data presentation Bussines application are important area of information technology. Their role is to automaticly process data. That allows a firm not to spend resources for manual data processing. All this increases productivity and cuts off expences. Becouse of that reason we can expect in future that development of bussiness aplications will be on the rise. In thesis we are presenting basic concepts describing electonic bussines, bussiness applications. We acquaint ourselves with tools and technologies used in developing bussiness applications. The tools used are basic essential tools, that we need if we want comfortable development. Application is based on Java, data is mainly stored, processed and transfered in standard XML form. There is a lot usage of data bases, there for knowledge of UML an SQL is also used. Before main part, we presented bussiness application, made in Java. It is used to show wider aspect of operating in insurance information system. An application for handling policy printout is connected on that which is explaned later. Bussiness application is fully explaind, all its functionality, usage, advantages and limitations. Base problem that needs to be processed is insurance contract. Aplication mainly process financial aspects, like money thansfers inside system, but it also contains parts that are used for data presentation for custumes, internal workers etc. Purpose of aplication developed in concatenation of thesis is data presentation. Presented data is result of previus actions. In concatenation of tjis part of aplication, we also described data model and some entities used. For the end we compare used technologies and findings acquired during development.
